I wasn’t offended or pissed, I was genuinely amused that she thought she was right. I actually enjoy debating things, and picking apart a person’s argument. I just figured more folks would get a kick out of it

I also love her “fact” that Obama prevented COLA for the military, when in fact there has been a COLA each year. Other federal salaries were frozen without COLA, but not military salaries or retirement. As a county government employee, I would have loved to see the same COLA. I’m getting one for 2012–1.63%! Woot!! Military will get 3.6%.

I belive that if you are willing to put your life on the line to fight for our Country the you have the right to do and live the way you want to. If a person loves this Country and goes out on the battle line to defend then they arw Heros in my book.

That is not correct. The sellers/money changers in the Temple were there for expressly religious purposes. The premise was that no one could worship or offer sacrifice without using “approved” animals. The moneychangers were there to make sure that travelers could pay in the “approved” coinage. All in the name of the Lord, so to speak.

At Passover everyone in the world who was an adult male and wished to worship at the Temple would bring his “offering” or purchase a sacrificial animal at the Temple. Since there was no acceptance of foreign money with any foreign image the money changers would sell “Temple coinage” at a very high rate of exchange and assess a fixed charge for their services. “The God of my belief” (which translates to your belief) is really the only thing that anyone needs to be concerend about. Belive it, follow it, be content and respectfully let others do the same. If you don’t belive that’s alright as well, respect others right to choose, and live your own life.
